According to a statement from Blaize Productions, the organization behind the competition, Boltinhouse's removal was due to "standards and values" not being upheld.
Boltinhouse will no longer represent North Carolina at the upcoming Miss USA 2026 pageant in Miami. Her replacement is first runner up Myla Hadley.
